Northern Ontario BowHunter Services is owned and operated by Alex Gouthro of Thunder Bay, Ontario.  Alex provides consultation services for those outfitters wishing to convert to bowhunts or add bowhunts to their operations. 

This business venture once had the purpose of working closely with selected hunt outfitters to provide reasonably priced, quality moose hunt and caribou hunt experiences for clients.  However, Alex no longer guides or acts as a booking agent for these outfitters; instead, he simply offers consulting services to outfitters and provides information to interested parties on moose hunts and caribou hunts.  He receives no commissions on hunts.

Alex Gouthro also owns and operates Northwest Video Productions specializing in the production of promotional videos for hunting & fishing outfitters and providing video editing and DVD authoring services for others.  Alex also produces and sells instructional audio & visual videos -- specializing in moose hunting & calling -- under the Gouthro's Moose Madness trade name, the two most recent productions being the 'Gouthro's Moose Madness Series On Moose Hunting & Calling' (2005), and the 'Gouthro's Moose Madness 'Quick-Fix' For The Hunter' (2008).  The 'Quick-Fix version recently won a National Outdoor Writers of Canada 'Communications Award' in the  'Television/Video' category.
